The life of Seyyed Mohammad Sadeq Dashti, from the time he joined the imperial regime's opponents when he was a young boy until he was killed by shrapnel, is narrated in the book "Mr. Sadeq" by Mohammadreza Hosseini.

Also, despite having only a brief stint in Jihad's combat engineering unit, he had managed to rise to the position of Jihad of Construction commander due to his abilities and worth.

* Why did you choose to write about the Jihad of Construction when so few people usually pay attention to it?

Since 2012, my friends and I have been researching some significant national organizations to learn more about how they came to be and what they accomplished, using both statistics and oral histories, and we realized that the Jihad of Construction had many significant approaches.

* Do you believe that one of the neglected subjects in the history of the revolution is the history of construction jihad?

Because of structural problems that developed later and after integration, this organization, which was primarily active in the field of agriculture, now faces difficulties. Sadly, the Ministry of Jihad did not make the same effort as the IRGC and the army to gather the soldiers’ memories.

* How did you find Mohammad Sadeq in this field?

Assistance and war engineering played a big role in jihad activities. The martyr "Seyyed Mohammad Sadeq Dashti," who was also one of the martyrs of Fars province's war engineering support, was one of the martyrs of the construction jihad in the war too. We began working on our investigation into the potential of war support in Fars province by discussing Martyr Dashti.

* Is this your first published book?

Yes. I am grateful that I also had excellent support.
